Tasting notes of a local wine lover without elegant literacy or web design. Just plain wine talk. By the same token I analyze the opened bottle with my senses, just at the very end I re-check the producer (I first checked it when bought it for sure!),vintage, terroir, and price. These data allow me to reconstruct the wine and trace a botton line.

Tercos, Sangiovese 2009, a Maipu son with Italian ancestry
Tercos, Sangiovese 2009, By Bodega y Viñedos Lunlunta, USD 10
A pale red with undertones of light brown. Good nose of red compoted cherries and quince. Very soft oak mostly milk chocolate. Nice acidity and strong palate typical of the grape. An 84 points red straight and simple with fidelity to this grape´s basics. Good red to enjoy. Not even close to Malbec´s quality and versatility in these lands.
