Tasting notes of a local wine lover without elegant literacy or web design. Just plain wine talk. By the same token I analyze the opened bottle with my senses, just at the very end I re-check the producer (I first checked it when bought it for sure!),vintage, terroir, and price. These data allow me to reconstruct the wine and trace a botton line.

Gerome Marteau Rose 09, a fair value from Rio negro
Gerome Marteau, Rose 2009, By Marcelo Marteau, USD 12
A malbec based Rose from Fernandez Oro district in High Rio Negro Valley.
Good Rose with soft floral and plummy aromas widen in palate by small red fruits (like red currant). Sweety and gentle with a little bitterness like from grape stems help to balance it up. An 85 points Rose to drink before 4 years old. Good value.
