Tasting notes of a local wine lover without elegant literacy or web design. Just plain wine talk. By the same token I analyze the opened bottle with my senses, just at the very end I re-check the producer (I first checked it when bought it for sure!),vintage, terroir, and price. These data allow me to reconstruct the wine and trace a botton line.

Saurus Patagonia Extra Brut, a sparkling from San Patricio Valley to enjoy
Saurus, Patagonia Extra Brut, Sparkling Wine, By Bodega Familia Schroeder, USD 10
A good sparkling from San Patricio Valley, Nequen, North Patagonia, made 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir.
Green apple and barely ripe pear dominate the beginning and then a fresh palate of herbal bitterness. It lacks some sweetness in ripe fruits I look for in a sparkling. Anyhow an 86 points sparkling with nice typicity to North Patagonia.
