Tasting notes of a local wine lover without elegant literacy or web design. Just plain wine talk. By the same token I analyze the opened bottle with my senses, just at the very end I re-check the producer (I first checked it when bought it for sure!),vintage, terroir, and price. These data allow me to reconstruct the wine and trace a botton line.

Aya Malbec 2009, uneventful malbec from Tullum Valley
Aya, Malbec 2008, By Bodega Borbore, USD 9
A Malbec from Tullum Valley in San Juan Province.
Basic malbec with few to acknoledge other than a barely legal Malbec.
Weak plummy and some fruity jam mixed. Soft chocolaty too. Uneventful passage through the palate. While not akward or unbalanced it doesn´t give striking notes. A 79 points malbec uneventful.
