Tasting notes of a local wine lover without elegant literacy or web design. Just plain wine talk. By the same token I analyze the opened bottle with my senses, just at the very end I re-check the producer (I first checked it when bought it for sure!),vintage, terroir, and price. These data allow me to reconstruct the wine and trace a botton line.

FIN, Cabernet Franc 2007, the best of the trio and from Northpatagonia
FIN, Cabernet Franc 2007, By Bodega del Fin del Mundo, USD 25
A Cabernet Franc single Vineyard from San Patricio Valley, Neuquen Province, North Patagonia.
The best of the three Cabernet Franc tasted blindly side by side. Round and complete. Quite attractive notes of sweet black berries currant and plum. Beautiful sweet peppery notes with solid backbone tannins. Nice acidity and alcohol. Good chocolaty edge too. Now probably the best moment, but if terciary notes develop in harmony it might reach a nicer point. I´d say a 90 points red and a good value. Worthwhile the price.
