INTA sparkling from Patagonia, no better value

INTA, sparkling wine N/V, USD 5
This wine is produced in the experimental station for agricultural affairs (INTA) from Rio Negro´s Alto Valle . It was born by champenoise method with local chard & pinot noir. Sold only locally this 2010 .Nice golden tone with some greenish pale. Aroma of ripe golden apple and pineapple with a clear hint of bread toast and toasted sesame seeds. Beautiful palate, gentle but complex, acid but fruity, expanding the nose with white peach and apricot. I love it. An easily 87 points sparks for no money at all. Better than most Argentina´s sparkling, as we are used to know it from North Patagonia.
