Dos Cielos, Malbec & Merlot 2004, USD 48
Amazing blend 50/50 from Alto Valle Rio Negro (merlot) and Lujan de Cuyo ,Mendoza (malbec). It coudn´t get any better. Wide palate and pretty lasting with a great palette of violets, cherries plum jam and ripe quince.Beautiful acidity all along. Smoky finish with quite long aftertaste. I´d say 93 points and a good value. Wonder how it would age.
