Finca Las Moras, reserva malbec 2007, USD 8
Nice and deep brilliant bordeaux color typical of San Juan´s valleys. Touching nose of quince jam and figs and a smoke note surrounding all over. The palate is soft and easy with good initial and short finish. Some spice like oregano not usual for malbec.I´d say 84 points for a good efforce though. Not sure it´s a good value.
San Juan´s valleys give colorfull & brilliant wines with vivid notes of spice and ripe fruits best expressed in Shiraz (we´ll put up some recent shiraz from here to show this point)
