Trapiche Malbec Oak Casc 2009, a typical Maipu value

Trapiche Malbec Oak Casc 2009, By Bodega Trapiche, USD 10

Nice and delicate Malbec from Maipu Departament in Central Mendoza. All the simplest thing together make a good and easy enjoyble malbec at hand. Ripe fruity notes mostly red cherries and black plum fresh and bright. Only hints of chocolate. No minty or spiciness found in more concentrated and high lands malbecs of mendoza. The ´primera zona´(Maipu & Lujan de Cuyo Dpts) gives this typical Malbecs with enjoyable balance and elegance in a very good value price. A 86 points Malbec to cellar less than 4 years for the best.
