Salentein Reserve, Malbec 2009, not what it was in previous vintages

Salentein Reserve Malbec 2009, By Salentein Wines, USD 16
Good malbec from Tunuyan, Uco valley, Mendoza. Nice balance of mixed berries ripe and sour. Not as concentrated neither complex as previous vintages (diferent vineyards or vintages feature?) reflecting diferent backbone tannins. Nice soft touch of oak chocolate and vanilla.Easy to drink with nice palate and aftertaste. I´d say 87 points malbec overpriced at 16 bucks. This malbec at 12 bucks goes good value. Far down in quality value from previous vintages. It doesn´t feel like a vintage matter but rather a vineyard one.
