Oneus, Malbec 2004, Lunlunta District,Mendoza, By Domaine St. Diego, USD 65
An absolutely gorgeous malbec from Lunlunta distric in Maipu Departament, Mendoza and made by Angel Mendoza (former chief winemaker Trapiche Winery). Unbelievable finesse and smoothness with layers and layers of delicate cherries and boysenberries with soft quince jam. A hint of spice and very fine vanilla and dark chocolate round completely this malbec. I mean, you may even drink the whole bottle alone in a bunch of minutes. A 94 points malbec to enjoy for a long time (Don Angel Mendoza says 10 years). A great value. A top quality malbec with a delicate and complex finesse.
