A regular Malbec from Lavalle city Northeast Mendoza. Good sort of fruits mixed red and black cherries ripe and chocolaty tagged. Not very attractive tannins in terms of seduction. Good balance. Nice passage through the palate. A 85 points Malbec way overpriced locally at least (given the local inflation rate over the dollar this may be a distortion). Not a good value at this price. An Argentinian Malbec value for 18 bucks is a 90 points red! (at least 90 points!). So this malbec reserve is a good value if less than 10 bucks.
