La Chamiza, Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2007, good value

La Chamiza Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2007, By Finca La Chamiza, USD 13

Quite nice CS from Agrelo District in Lujan de Cuyo, Central Mendoza.
Close in aroma and taste to Malbec same vintage counterpart. Fruit ripe and balanced with acidity and alcohol. Good notes of peppercorn both black and green. Soft chocolate and smoke. Short aftertaste.Wide middle palate close to the its malbec brother. A 86 points CS with good value component. Not as expressive as you may expect from a CS. To enjoy 4-6 years .
