Quara Malbec 2008 Viña Cabra Corral (Cafayate Valley, Salta), By Bodega Lavaque, USD 28
Very young malbec with dominant hebaceous red small fruits and astringency which even not unbalanced are not quite praising. Second layer of chocolate and smoke very soft. Wide palate even not complex one. Good aftertaste. I wound´t go more than 86 points for this malbec not even close to an outstanding cafayate´s son. Overpriced. Personaly I woudn´t buy it twice.
