Tasting notes of a local wine lover without elegant literacy or web design. Just plain wine talk. By the same token I analyze the opened bottle with my senses, just at the very end I re-check the producer (I first checked it when bought it for sure!),vintage, terroir, and price. These data allow me to reconstruct the wine and trace a botton line.

Saint Felicien, Cabernet Franc 2007, nice just nice
Saint Felicien, Cabernet Franc 2007, By Bodega Catena Zapata, USD 15
A series sold only to the local market. A CF blend from Agrelo district (lujan de Cuyo Dpt) and San Carlos (Uco Valley). A soft red mostly sweet, gentle and caramelized. Some red cherries and sweet
quince marmalade attractive but somehow weak in terms of lacking good acidity to back it up. Very mild oak envelope and a very soft wet leather bretty like. Likable and enjoyable though.
I wound´t go more than 85 points. All in all a good value. It dosen´t look like worth waiting more than now.
