Tasting notes of a local wine lover without elegant literacy or web design. Just plain wine talk. By the same token I analyze the opened bottle with my senses, just at the very end I re-check the producer (I first checked it when bought it for sure!),vintage, terroir, and price. These data allow me to reconstruct the wine and trace a botton line.

Malma Reserve Malbec 2006, a follow up on this super North Patagonian
Malma Reserve Malbec 2006, By Bodega NQN. USD 15
Also sold international as Lonco. A beautiful Malbec from San Patricio Valley with such a character and balance I´ve not seen before in North Patagonia. Fresh dark berries and cherries with quince and plum jam, you name it. Nice alcohol and acidity too. Chocolate and soft smoke too. A 92 points Malbec getting better. Great value. To my palate the one I picked up.

Malbec is one of my favorites! I love having a glass after a long hard day at work. Really does the trick!
