Tasting notes of a local wine lover without elegant literacy or web design. Just plain wine talk. By the same token I analyze the opened bottle with my senses, just at the very end I re-check the producer (I first checked it when bought it for sure!),vintage, terroir, and price. These data allow me to reconstruct the wine and trace a botton line.

Infinitus (Fabre Montmayou Barrel Select) malbec 2010, a fruit driven terroir expression of Northpatagonia
Infinitus (sold int´l as Fabre Montmayou Barrel Selection) Malbec 2010, By Domaine Vistalba, USD 15
A Malbec from Rio Negro Valley in North Patagonia.
Striking Malbec with all the beauty of northpatagonia expressed with strong tannins, concentrated black and red
cherries with plum and violets. Firm backbone with nice chocolate slightly expressed. Now a 90 points malbec to improve next 2-4 years. One of the best Patagonian Malbecs given the balance and terroir expression quality.
