Alamos Reserve Tempranillo 2006, a rather basic tempranillo from Mendoza. Hard to buy twice.

Alamos (de Mendoza) Reserve Tempranillo 2006, By Bodega Catena Zapata, USD 12

Soft red with typicity of Mendoza for a sweet and good balanced red. Ripe blackberries and boysenberries that remind a Spanish tempranillo. Far less acid than the spanish ones. Medium body with gentle tannins and a tiny sweet chocolate. A 82 points red with barely acceptable value to price. Probably best before 6 years born.
