A nice but somehow sad blend 50/50 from Maipu Departament of Central Mendoza
Well expressed fruits, mostly a mix remembering both grapes and a soft oak envelope. If you remember any good malbec or cabernet or both from this mendoza, you forget this Rutini entereraly right away. If you are begenning to know those wines & grapes from mendoza, you may recognise some fine basics on it.
An 86 points red not even close to its money price. Probably ending its plateau in terms of life span and maturity.The 2007 vintage did quite better.
