A Malbec 65% and Cabernet 35% blend from La Consulta district of San Carlos Dpt in Uco Valley.
A red cherries dominant malbec with delicate structure and backbone. Mostly fruity with a mild sweet bell peppery note. Nice wideness in the middle palate with an toasty edge. I wound´t say this is a typical La Consulta red. It reminds me some Central Mendoza virtues. An 88 point red with fair price. Probably 2-3 years the older the better.
