Tasting notes of a local wine lover without elegant literacy or web design. Just plain wine talk. By the same token I analyze the opened bottle with my senses, just at the very end I re-check the producer (I first checked it when bought it for sure!),vintage, terroir, and price. These data allow me to reconstruct the wine and trace a botton line.

Primogenito, Pinot Noir 2008, a quite nice northpatagonian
Primogénito, Pinot Noir 2008, By Bodega Patriti, USD 15
A pinot Noir from San Patricio Valley, Neuquén, North Patagonia.
A delicate red fruit (mostly compoted) shifted Pinot with nice toasty notes and good balance. Quite fine toasty cocoa. Balanced and wide middle palate with nice acidity and alcohol. An 87 points pinot noir on the traditional steps and expressing northpatagonia´s terroir. Surely better aged by 4-6 years.
