Tasting notes of a local wine lover without elegant literacy or web design. Just plain wine talk. By the same token I analyze the opened bottle with my senses, just at the very end I re-check the producer (I first checked it when bought it for sure!),vintage, terroir, and price. These data allow me to reconstruct the wine and trace a botton line.

Desierto 25/5, Cabernet Franc 2006, nice red from high Rio Colorado Valley
Desierto 25/5 Cabernet Franc 2006, By Bodega del Desierto, USD 12
Nice Cab Franc from 25 de Mayo region in southwest La Pampa (High Rio Colorado Valley), NorthPatagonia.
Aromas of red ripe fruit and spicies like fresh bay leaf and mint. Good palate although weak and less concentrated than 2005 vintage tasted. Quite soft oaky notes. A good value for the price with an 87 points quality.
