Tasting notes of a local wine lover without elegant literacy or web design. Just plain wine talk. By the same token I analyze the opened bottle with my senses, just at the very end I re-check the producer (I first checked it when bought it for sure!),vintage, terroir, and price. These data allow me to reconstruct the wine and trace a botton line.

Viña Amalia, Rose Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, from San Carlos a delicate beauty
Viña Amalia Rose Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, By Viña Amalia, USD 12
Beautiful and delicate rose from San Carlos Departament in Uco Valley, Mendoza.

Sweet and velvety. Nice cooked quinces with a touch of red berries and a far memory of red sweet bell pepper. It shows a white floral and peachy pineapple edge nice even strange and unexpected.
Very delicate and attractive palate to pair very delicate dishes and food. Soft acidity. An 89 point rose probably best before 4 years old given its delicate complexity. Although some nice oxidation may bring more complexity. Very good value.
