Tasting notes of a local wine lover without elegant literacy or web design. Just plain wine talk. By the same token I analyze the opened bottle with my senses, just at the very end I re-check the producer (I first checked it when bought it for sure!),vintage, terroir, and price. These data allow me to reconstruct the wine and trace a botton line.

FIN Cabernet Sauvignon single vineyard 2007, a delicate yet very attractive CS from Patagonia
FIN , Cabernet Sauvignon single vineyard 2007, By Bodega del Fin del Mundo, USD 22
A single vineyard (finca la Virgencita) Cabernet Sauvignon from San Patricio Valley, Neuquen Province, North Patagonia.

An attractive Cab wide on the palate and expressive yet delicate. Nice turning of the fruits into soft marmalade.
Oak only to round it up with chocolate and very soft roasted coffee grains. Not much of that peppery and herbality often times seen. From this FIN series and 2007 vintage I remember over all the Cabernet Franc by its complexity. A 91 point red mature and delicate to pick the best between 4 and 6 years old. Great value for this Patagonian.
