Tasting notes of a local wine lover without elegant literacy or web design. Just plain wine talk. By the same token I analyze the opened bottle with my senses, just at the very end I re-check the producer (I first checked it when bought it for sure!),vintage, terroir, and price. These data allow me to reconstruct the wine and trace a botton line.

Argento, Pinot Grigio 2010, a simple and attractive white from Rivadavia Dpt
Argento, Pinot Grigio 2010, By Bodegas Esmeralda (Catena Group), USD 12
A Pinot Grigio (Gris) from Rivadavia Departament, East of Mendoza.
Nice and striking PG fresh and crispy envolving aromas of peach and apricot. Kept simple yet straight. Quite balanced in acidity and alcohol. Good and smooth palate passage. No oak stuff whatsoever. An 87 points pinot grigio delicate and balanced. Good value.
