Tasting notes of a local wine lover without elegant literacy or web design. Just plain wine talk. By the same token I analyze the opened bottle with my senses, just at the very end I re-check the producer (I first checked it when bought it for sure!),vintage, terroir, and price. These data allow me to reconstruct the wine and trace a botton line.

Felino Malbec 2010, a simple , lightweighted and nice Malbec
Felino, Malbec 2010, By Bodega Viña Cobos, USD 15
Good malbec blending different terroirs of Mendoza.
Nice even very soft choco and vanilla aromas anounces a balanced and typical Mendoza´s Malbec although light in tannins. Ripe fruits mostly black plum and red cherries very easy to pass through the palate. Not concentrated neither complex. An 87 points malbec better before 4 years old. Probably overpriced locally (and a distortion too), I guess a 10-12 bucks is a good price range. Globally it reminds me those `prime time´ malbecs well priced and barely acceptable quality value.
