Tasting notes of a local wine lover without elegant literacy or web design. Just plain wine talk. By the same token I analyze the opened bottle with my senses, just at the very end I re-check the producer (I first checked it when bought it for sure!),vintage, terroir, and price. These data allow me to reconstruct the wine and trace a botton line.

Postales Merlot 2010, a nice wine for a nice and simple day
Postales Merlot 2011, By Bodega del Fin del Mundo, USD 6
www.bodegadelfindelmundo.com
A Merlot from San Patricio Valley in Neuquen Province, North Patagonia.
Basic and nice merlot from Patagonia. Nice fruity ,mostly red cherrires and red plum, tipicaly soury and balanced like North Patagonia brings on. Realy palatable at 6 bucks level to go along most lunches and diner without striking brightness. An 85 point red and a very good Argentina´s value.
