Tasting notes of a local wine lover without elegant literacy or web design. Just plain wine talk. By the same token I analyze the opened bottle with my senses, just at the very end I re-check the producer (I first checked it when bought it for sure!),vintage, terroir, and price. These data allow me to reconstruct the wine and trace a botton line.

Esmeralda Fernandez, Malbec 2010 an expensive table wine
Esmeralda Fernandez, malbec 2010, By Bodegas Esmeralda (Catena Group), USD 8
A malbec blending dnformation ififferent terroirs of Mendoza. I don´t know if this label is exported. It´s part of Esmeralda´s portfollio with ' Dos Lomos', 'Tilia',' Canopia' and 'Retamo'. See bodegasesmeralda.com.ar/ . A basic red with barely any beauty. Red berries and cherries with a toasty note is all I found on a on the edge of table wine. Table wine means I shound´t pay more than 4-5 bucs a bottle. An 79 point malbec that shound´t be priced more than 5 bucks to be somehow a value.
I wound´t cellar this wine.
