Tasting notes of a local wine lover without elegant literacy or web design. Just plain wine talk. By the same token I analyze the opened bottle with my senses, just at the very end I re-check the producer (I first checked it when bought it for sure!),vintage, terroir, and price. These data allow me to reconstruct the wine and trace a botton line.

Viñas de Syracusa Malbec 2007, far from Patagonia value
Viñas de Syracusa Malbec 2007, By Familia Pirri, Rio Negro, Patagonia,
USD 6
Basic Malbec with some unwanted acidity even though the nose and palate are drinkable. Red sour fruit with bitter tannins at the edge. The alcohol is nice. Not a wine to enjoy easily. I´d say a 75 points malbec far from Patagonia value.
