Tasting notes of a local wine lover without elegant literacy or web design. Just plain wine talk. By the same token I analyze the opened bottle with my senses, just at the very end I re-check the producer (I first checked it when bought it for sure!),vintage, terroir, and price. These data allow me to reconstruct the wine and trace a botton line.

Lassia Cabernet Sauvignon & Malbec 2010, a beautiful excercise of Patagonia´s typicity
Lassia Cabernet Sauvignon & Malbec 2010, By Bodega Patritti, USD 9
A blend from San Patricio Valley, Neuquen Province, North Patagonia. A beuatiful and full red. Nicely and naturally strong and alcoholic with sour fruit mostly black plum and cherries. All sort of wild berries black and wide in palate. A strong chocolaty and coffee toach too. A red reaching its best next 2-4 years. An 89 point blend expressing North Patagonia typicity in a nice balance.
Sorry about the drippings !!!
